PaperCut NG/MF versions 23 and earlier are advised to be upgraded to the latest version.

Overview


Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in PaperCut NG/MF Application Server, which could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to bypass authentication, modify system configurations, execute arbitrary Java bytecode, and compromise affected systems.


Target Audience:

All organizations and administrators using affected PaperCut NG/MF Application Server deployments.


Risk Assessment:

Critical risk of authentication bypass, arbitrary code execution, unauthorized modification of system configurations, and compromise of affected systems.


Impact Assessment:

PaperCut NG and PaperCut MF are print management solutions developed by PaperCut Software, providing print management, document workflow, and print security capabilities for organizations.


Multiple vulnerabilities exist in PaperCut NG/MF Application Server due to improper access control and unsafe dynamic class loading.


Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to bypass authentication, modify system configurations, execute arbitrary Java bytecode, or compromise affected systems.
